Important Notice
Forensic Evaluation vs. Therapy
A forensic mental health evaluation is not psychotherapy. The evaluator's role is to provide an independent, objective professional opinion addressing a specific referral question. A forensic evaluation does not establish a therapist-client relationship, and the limits of confidentiality differ from those applicable to traditional counseling services. All evaluations are conducted in accordance with applicable professional and ethical standards.
